Reliable "downgrade" from the Magnacore Strong G

Thinking the Strong G tension Magnacore would benefit my CR5 electric cello was a mistake, so I returned to the most familiar sound I know, Larsen Mediums. Always satisfied.

Vor 4 Monaten habe ich mir die "G Saite mittel" von "Larsen Strings" zugelegt, nachdem ich schon die A Saite von Larsen hatte. Ich hab schon mit der A Saite gute Erfahrung gemacht, also dachte ich mir, dass ich es noch mit einer weiteren versuchen werden.

Als ich die Saite dann endlich hatte (dauerte bei Thomann Versand ja nicht lange) war ich sehr begeistert. Besonders die gute Verarbeitung ist mir wiedereinmal aufgefallen.

Die Saite hat einen sehr weichen und vollen Klang. Ich habe auch festgestellt, dass recht viele Cellisten Larsen benutzen (wenn auch gemischt mit anderen Saiten). Die Anschaffung hat sich aufjedenfall gelohnt, auch wenn sie im Vergleich zu anderen Saiten Larsen manchmal etwas teurer sind.

Gewundert hat mich allerdings, dass ich anfangs das Gefühl hatte, die Saite würde nicht gut anspielen. Das hat sich aber nach 1-2 Wochen gelegt. (würde ich interessieren, ob es noch anderen Leute so ging!?)

Ich habe mir vorgenommen, nach und nach ganz auf Larsen Saiten umzusteigen und kann es wirklich nur empfehlen!

Angenehme Cello-Saite

Ich habe viel an Saiten ausprobiert, und die Larsens sind echt die Wucht. Eine angenehm zu spielende Saite, mit sehr asugewogenem, warmen Cello-Ton.

Ich spiele seit Jahren einen komplette Satz Larsens; angefangen hat es damit, daß ich eine weicher klingende A-Saite suchte, weil mein Cello zum Pfeifen neigte. Mit der Larsen A-Saite war ich dann hoch zufrieden, musste aber feststellen, daß meine bisherige D-Saite sehr im Ton abfiel, also war eine D-Saite fällig, worauf die G-Saite im vergleich schlecht abschnitt, bis ich dann schließlich nacheinander alle Saiten ersetzt hatte.

Für ein romantisches Klangideal die absolut geignete Saite der Wahl.

Teuer aber sehr Gut!

Die Larsen Saiten sind ja nicht gerade die Billigsten aber dafür sind sie sehr gut verarbeitet und halten sehr lange Zeit. Vor allem haben sie einen sehr schönen und vollen Klang.
