Spectacular sound! But..
I already placed a review on these strings where i was realy blown away by there sound on my acoustic fretless bass (Crafter thinline). It's realy easy to obtain an upright growl with them by your technique.
However, i found out that they are realy fragile. Wich doesn't mean that they break but the top windings seem to get loose after a few weeks of (intensive)playing. Especialy the E-string seems to have this problem.
It sounds like you have a thin paper woven around the string what makes it distort in an unpleasant way.
I'm totaly aware of my somehowe heavy right hand attack,so that might shorten the durability from these strings.
Conclusion: these strings are great when you don't play to often and handle them with extreme caution. Otherwise(in my case) you'll have to change them on a near monthly base.
