Utility at its best!
Now, this is one HELPFUL/USEFUL piece of metal! Two mics on a stand for recording, say a 2x12? Presto! This the tool for the job. I really cannot help but wonder how on Earth have I not discovered it years ago? Luckily enough I had the good sense to order two...

The two center joints make it very easy to find any spacing for AB XY or ORTF mic positions.
I'm just about to buy another - from Thomann of course. This time I'll pick up a pair of K&M thread adaptors so I have an option to raise one of the mics slightly when I want an overlap !
