K&M's patented push‑button system makes setting up a PA a piece of cake, while giving users a relatively wide range of height adjustment to play with. At the same time, the robust centre tubes provide stability and plenty of load capacity, for up to 40kg per speaker. Even so, the folding speaker stands themselves are refreshingly lightweight. A carry bag for both stands is included in the box, as well as an adapter sleeve for any speakers with an oversized mounting flange.

Click, push, go

A flick of the wrist, and the stand is up – thanks to the handy clamping lever, which simply clicks into place after the three legs have been extended. The base gets its stability from the legs' support braces. The height of the centre column, which has a diameter of 35mm, can be adjusted between 1270 and 1930 mm. This is where K&M's patented push‑button system comes into play: In combination with the traditional locking screw, adjusting the stands is at once easier and more secure. The stands are made from aluminium, which keeps the total weight of the set down to just 5.88 kg. The connecting elements are reinforced with fibreglass. K&M proves that such a lightweight set can still be rock‑solid with the maximum load rating here: The speaker can weigh up to 40 kg. Naturally, the manufacturer's specs only apply with a centred load and no side forces, like gusts of wind outdoors.

About K&M

Founded in 1949, König & Meyer (K&M) initially produced music stands and measuring tools. Awesome Speaker Stand Set

It is well built, stable, easy to handle. One note to have in mind, it is not for big speaker sizes. I could't use it with my RCF 745's because it was unstable. Smaller ones should be fine.

Tämä ständisetti on varsin toimiva ratkaisu kepeämpään humputteluun! Ständit ovat hämmästyttävän kevyet, mutta kuitenkin riittävän tukevat perus kovaäänisille. Mukana tuleva pussi on varsin hyvä, kaksi ständiä sopii riemastuttavan helposti sisään, ja keikan aikana pussissa sopii lepäilemään vaikkapa keskikokoinen fretti perheineen.
