K&M 12120 Orchestra Music Stand

To be honest, I thought this would be a little more "portable", but it actually is a little too heavy for me to lug around much. Won't fit in a backpack. It comes with a carrying case, but occupies one hand.

Works perfectly and the folding mechanism is clever.

Regarding stability, an eaven heavier stand would of course be more stable, but this does very well for a portable one.

Could be perfect for having around the home, if you don't have room to always have it up.

I bought this stand, because I needed a sturdy stand on a convention, not one of these little foldy stands. This stand is amazing, because it's lightweight, compact and sturdy.
But the quality is not so amazing, the machining could be better and there is (obviously) a lot of plastic in the product. I'd love it if the fasteners weren't these plastic clips but metal screws.
All together it's great for traveling and doesn't take up much closet space!

Solid stand for heavier folders and fun to put together :-) and "unload". Basically all parts are plastic so let?s see how strong this stand is...
