Music stands for pro performances

The K&M 107, part of the Starline series, is another remarkably stable music stand from a company steeped in music history. The simple, time-tested design, with its three legs and steel strut construction, ensures that all musicians will always be able to read their sheet music securely; and that does mean all musicians, with a dually adjustable central rod enabling individually variable heights up to 145cm (4'9"). The K&M 107's foldable, space-saving design also means it's convenient enough to transport to any performance anywhere.

Space for scores and more

The ergonomic wing nuts and joints used on the K&M 107 enable the convenient and user-friendly adjustment of the stand's height, as well as the angle of the music rest itself. And thanks to the non-abrasive material used for the sheet holders, the K&M 107 is sure to be a beloved companion for years to come. The music rest is 48.5cm wide and 24cm high, meaning that even full orchestral scores in A4 format will have enough space on the rest's shelf, which has a depth of 4.2cm. The central rod can be extended in two places and fastened with polymer wing nuts for a secure hold. The three legs of the K&M 107 are fitted with high-friction feet that will help protect the floor of any venue from being damaged.

For musicians great and small

The K&M 107 can be adjusted from a height of 80cm (2'7") to 145cm (4'9"), making it just as suitable for active pros with years of experience as it is for the very youngest musicians. The matte black finish of the K&M 107 ensures it will cut a stylish but inconspicuous figure on almost every stage, although attentive audiences will appreciate that it's decorated with the traditional music stand scroll. The stand folds up neatly to a length of just 68cm, so it can be carried in almost any case or bag. All of these features combine to create a music stand that will guarantee many years of use for professional performances, offering not only great flexibility, but also outstanding stability thanks to its special strut construction.

Detail of the K&M 107 music stand

About K&M

Founded in 1949, König & Meyer (K&M) initially produced music stands and measuring tools. Just two years later, the range was expanded to include instrument stands and microphone tripods, which are still the core business of the manufacturer today – and are still manufactured in their facilities in Wertheim, Germany. K&M also produces musicians' stools, stands for speakers, monitors, and lighting, and a range of accessories for mobile devices, such as tablet mounts. To satisfy the company's own exacting standards, even the individual metal and plastic components continue to be manufactured primarily in the company's factory in Wertheim, with particular emphasis placed on environmentally friendly and sustainable production.

Unbeatably simple and quick assembly

Usually, when folding the robust K&M 107 back together – be it to take it home or to stow it on stage – practised musicians will first collapse the music rest section itself upwards, so that the two struts left pointing upwards can be folded back down, making as compact a package as possible. And as it weighs only 2.5kg (5.5lbs), it couldn't be easier to carry. Incidentally, the K&M 107 can also be used as a conductor's stand, as the music rest section can also be retained in a fully horizontal position thanks to the special joint. Additional, separate sheet holders can be purchased from the manufacturer, which can be used to secure larger or loose sheets of music.

Über ein Jahr intensive Nutzung
KarlJ 20.04.2013
Nutzung:
--> jeweils Auf- und Abbauen
