Journey Instruments JourneyTek Passive 3-piezo

I haven't tested other similar pickups from other brands, but I am so pleased with these! They sound natural, woody. I know at some point they weren't in the stock anymore, and I wrote to the guys at Thomann, and soon afterwards they brought it back into stock. Man I was glad! I bought 2 of them and I might purchase another one as I gave one away as a gift to my dear brother-in-law.

I have installed JourneyTek ep001k in a Martin D28 and Blueridge 140 and find it to be excellent, especially for recording combined with mic.
Live it sounds great , better than under saddle piezo offerings at a much more expensive price. Good videos on youtube for installation tips. I use AER Domino amp and Boss Katana so eq is very good and volume is no problem.

This was surprisingly easy to fit at home. Took about 20mins and the sound is very good, very representative of the actual acoustic sound. There's a nice bit of volume out of the box but pair it with a good DI box and you're away. Very happy so far, looking forward to trying it out at gigs.

I bought this system for my Martin acoustic guitar as it has no built in piezzo. This sounds way more natural than most piezzo systems.

You do to be prepared to drill a 12mm hole and have super glue (not included) to install it. But once done it is just perfect for me. Great sound and no batteries needed!
