Not a professional opinion as I am just back to oboe after 15+ years on hiatus, though I didn't like much the sound of the reed nor the quality overall. I will order a MH one as it might be more suitable for me, which hopefully will be better.

Attention au diamètre du tube en liège

Je viens de reprendre mon hautbois après 25 ans de pause... donc je ne donnerai pas un avis de professionnel, par contre je peux dire qu'en tant que re-débutant, la médium soft me convient bien mieux que la médium qui me fatigue très vite les lèvres, de plus j'ai été surpris par le tube en liège dont le diamètre est légèrement trop faible. En effet, en tout cas sur mon hautbois de marque CABART, cette anche peut être retirée en tirant dessus avec les lèvres, j'ai du rajouter une feuille de papier à cigarette autour du liège pour assurer un coincement correct. J'ai pris aussi une 3ième anche marquée European Scrape Med Soft, et elle a les mêmes dimensions que mes vieilles anches.

ich habe die Rohre jetzt schon mehrfach bestellt. Nutze sie gern, wenn ich ein paar Tage nicht intensiv geübt habe, eine lange intensive Übungseinheit absolviere oder an meiner Muskulatur arbeite, um den Klang zu optimieren.
Sie sprechen in allen Registern traumhaft an. Die längere Bahn ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, allerdings schabe ich meine selbstgebauten, schwereren Rohre inzwischen ebenfalls nach diesem Muster und habe damit sehr gute Ergebnisse. Schade ist nur, die Menge an Verpackung für die einzelnen Rohre, die über Thomann nicht wiederverwendet werden. Hier könnte man aus ökologischer Sicht meckern. Das Rohr an sich ist Spitze.
