I would certainly recommend this mute for work in most registers. A very well made product in aluminium with an easily adjustable cup. It generally stays in tune and is very responsive, even when using tight cup mode. Excels in medium and upper registers but the notes below bottom B flat can be more difficult to centre.
Good value for money though.

Der Cup-Dämpfer von Jo Ral ist mein neuer favorit unter den Caup-Dämpfern. Er hat eine angenehmen weichen Sound, wie man das von einem Cup-Dämpfer erwartet. Er ist in Bauweise, Design und Verarbeitung dem Cup von Wick sehr ähnlich, gefällt mir klanglich aber besser, ist weniger blechern (vor allem wenn man die Kappe abnimmt und die Dämpfer als Straight benutzt ist der Unterschied deutlich zu hören)

Die Kappe ist ziemlich hoch bzw. die Korken zu flach. Unter Umständen muss man im Nachhinein noch Korken aufkleben, damit der Dämpfer passt.

Das Ding sieht sehr gut aus, toll verarbeitet. Leider müsste man den Kork aufdoppeln, denn der Cub steht direkt am Schallbecher an. Nur als Straight benutzt klingt es ganz gut, aber es passt gar nicht gut in eine Large Bore (King 4B).
Dafür sind über 70 Euro einfach zuviel - net bös sein!
