Beast of a guitar

Ordered this beauty right when I saw it available. Was waiting for Jackson to release a guitar like this for some time now.

Overall, quality was great. Came set up from Thomann and surprisingly, the tuning was close to perfect out of the box. Minor adjustments needed.

Fret edges were soft except the ones, close to the body of the guitar on the higher notes - these needed a bit softening with the right tools.
Also, a proper fret levelling was needed on the guitar.
Shame that you have to pay that much for an instrument and not receive it in immaculate state.

The pickup is hot and sounded a bit harsh in the highs in the beginning. But seems it was set up a bit too high, so I lowered it a bit and it sounds a great now.

All and all, aside from the extra setup I had to do, it's a great guitar that I'll keep for sure. Plays like butter. Definately recommend.
