Bad sound ? Yes, in some casescg parameter i increased
I went from Line6 Helix, which was ok but never gave me the right live sound, to Hughes & Kettner 200 watt floorboard, which was much too screamish to This board. In the beginning i really liked the sounds which were more realistic in my opinion that the two other boards and only for a fraction og the price.
However the output level was extremely low and i had problems delivering enough output to FOH without increasing the overall noise level.
I didnt consider it a problem in the beginning as i knew i could increase output levels on almost all effects, amps, cabinets, for each patch and in Global settings.
But but…… maybe my specific unit had a defect but even the slightest increase in volume resulted in an extremely unpleasent and unwanted digital distortion. It didnt matter on which parameter i increased the level, the result was the same : harsh digital distortion and still low output levels.
I spent some days trying to tweak the unit as i really liked some of the amp sounds but in the end i had to surrender and return it.
This will end my journey in modelling boards once and for all.
I am now returning to traditional tube amplifiers expecting my Grandmeister amp from Thomann today or tomorrow.

does many things...averagely
The good:
features (packed with functions)
casing/build quality
UI and PC connectivity
the "not so good":
tpyed sound (but that is expected with a multi Fx, it is not meant to sound or react like a real amp would, and does not indeed.)
wah/exoression pedal is tiny (and on the wrong side for lefties)
overall this item has very good price/quality point but this is NOT to be compared with more pricy multifxes, even though it pretend to the same functionalities, think of it as a swiss army knife if you relocate/move and need something to practice.
the very bad thing : looper latency makes it completely useless as a teacher I would not want someone to work on rhythm with this.

Good sounds, had a hardware problem
The unit is great for the price. If it works.
It's small, light, with a wide array of connections. The switches are very near each other and the pedal is very hard to use because of it's size. I use it for rehearsals and some recording. Noticable gap when changing presets, and the delays have some awful artefacts.
The Ampero did not work correctly the first time i bought it(hardware error while booting every 10th boot). the second one(i have it now) is switching channels and changing output volume randomly. i will send it back and wait for a replacement. again :D.

It does everything, but the sound is not to my liking
Received the unit and it is beautiful and has a solid, high quality feel. The display is great and the unit is very easy to use. The sound quality is not what I expected. I'm using the unit connected to a frfr and it has a lot of feedback no matter the position of of the speaker and it sounds muffled. I also tried it with a Fender Bassman and it didn't sound any different. I bought the unit impressed by the youtube reviews, but at least my unit, didn't sound anything close to that.
