This is an OK product. It will NOT replace your regular need of cleaning for the trombone, but it helps keeping the slide clean for a longer period of time.
One bad thing is that they do not last long.

Have used this every now and then when theres some real rubbish in my slide. Just need to be careful not to rip this spitball inside. And if you have a small numb on your slide forget about it.

Ich benutze die Spitballs zur regelmäßigen Reinigung meiner Melton-Basstrompete (Bohrung 14mm - Spitballs-Größe L).
Selbst wenn alle drei Zylinderventile gedrückt sind, lässt sich der Spitball noch mühelos durchs Instrument blasen.
Nach meiner eigenen Erfahrung ist der Reinigungseffekt am besten nachdem ich ausgiebig geübt habe. Das Instrument ist dann innen komplett feucht und somit sind eventuelle Rückstände leichter zu entfernen.
Was ich noch nicht bewerten kann, ist die Verträglichkeit der Reinigungsflüssigkeit mit dem von mir verwendeten Ventilöl. Da die Flüssigkeitsmenge, die mit den Spitballs ins Instrument gebracht wird, aber sehr gering ist und sich schnell verflüchtigt, habe ich hier keinerlei Bedenken.

Abgesehen davon, dass die Spitballs tatsächlich einiges an Dreck mitnehmen, wenn sie herauskommen, kann ich wenig Positives hier vermerken. Da fängt es nämlich schon an: WENN SIE WIEDER HERAUSKOMMEN...! Ich habe die Größe L gekauft in der Erwartung dass das für die Reinigung einer Tuba die richtige Größe ist, wenn ich mir die Artikelbeschreibung "für Instrumente mit großer Bohrung, z. B. Posaune" ansehe. Leider ließ sich der spitball ordentlich Zeit, bis er wieder da war, und ich musste ganz schön kräftig pusten. Mit der Zeitersparnis, die ich mir von den Spitballs versprach, war es folglich nicht weit her. Da ich sie nach den ersten ERfahrungen nicht wieder verwendet habe, kann ich über eine Pflegewirkung wenig sagen, daher gebe ich hier mittelmäßige Sterne - nicht zu gut und nicht zu schlecht.
