Hartke Kickback 12

This is a good value for money combo. It seems well made and is fairly light. Ideal for rehearsing and smaller gigs. The kickback facility is great for being able to hear yourself. It has essential/minimalist features, Volume, Treble, Middle & Bass controls. A balanced DI out and a headphone out to allow practice without upsetting rest of family or neighbours etc. I like the Hartke tone which is clean and punchy. However I was a little disappointed with power output. This is marketed as a 500W amp BUT that is the peak output, it is actually a 250W rms amp and as such it didn't quite have the power and headroom I needed to keep up with a loud rock drummer. I returned this. Thomann service was excellent as usual.
