As a novice I wasn't sure if these strings sounded good or bad. After a bit of wearing in they were very reasonable and playable. I upgraded them for some Aquila strings and very quickly noticed the difference. For a beginner like myself though, these are perfectly playable strings and at this value price you can't go wrong.

These strings are incredibly cheap, which is about the only thing good about them. They don't sound good, they sound okay. They are great as a backup in case you break a string and can't get new ones. Given the price, I would say they're worth it.

The strings correspond their price.
They are OK as a spare set (e.g. if your child disappointed after cutting strings with scissors).
Do not expect day-long sustain or rich overtone )
