Not bad for a last minute choice
I needed strings for my Acoustic bass and didn't have a lot to spend. As you know bass strings are for some reason way more expensive than regular guitar strings. Anyway, it was a great choice, I have used these strings for a couple months now and they are still holding some brightness. I will buy more.
Pros- low cost, sounds great, holds brightness, can use several months without needing to change.
At this moment I can't think of any cons.

no problem, amazing pricing.
I don't change strings very often, but it needs to happen every now and then. This string set is much better than some unknown brand strings set that sometimes comes with a cheap instrument, and the pricing is THE BEST.
which point can you complain about?
If you are the kind of person who can only be satisfies with something like Optima gold strings(which I love very much), you wouldn't have been reading this.

Goed hoor
De oem daddarios op mijn guild worden niet meer gemaakt. Even voor nood dit setje erop. Beetje minder “zingy” als de oem. Maar behoorlijk goed, en ze blijven hun klank behouden! Geven ook niet af, zoals die van F.
Ik houd van een levendig, dynamisch akoestisch basGITAAR geluid, niet zo’n dof flatwound wat je niet hoort. Fishman piezo versterkt de snaren prima en dan kun je er iedere klankkleur indraaien.
8 euro of 35 plus… ;)

for under £10, these strings do the job perfectly, couldn't ask for anything better at this great price. They have a nice tone and sound

Great value for money
I had acquired an acoustic "rescue bass" that was being thrown out. It had no working tuners, no strings and no bridge pins. I took pity on it and thought I'd like to give it a new lease of life.
However, I did not want to spend a fortune on fixing it up only to find that the neck bowed, or the bridge sprung off when it was strung up, so I bought the cheapest substitutes I could find from Thomann. I did not expect much in terms of quality, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the products I had bought was excellent. These strings certainly had a lively sound and had added depth to them. They were certainly comparable to strings I had paid far more for on my electric bass. So, after a couple of months of playing that old rescue bass, I can now say that I got a good instrument for home practice and did my good Samaritan deed on an instrument that was about to be left by the roadside or used for firewood.

Lovely strings....
... so far. I put it like that cos I've only just fitted them.
They were bought specifically to put on a Harley Benton fretless Beatbass (after reshaping and toughening the fingerboard).
These strings make a low cost bass sound really good, and it was a very worthwhile experiment.
The strings have a nice warmth to the sound, but aren't brittle-sounding like other, far more expensive brands I've tried.
They have quite a soft feel which suits me just fine as I dislike high tension strings.
Like all Thomann house branded goods, very good VFM indeed.

Bass-ically good
These are the first acoustic bass strings I've changed on my aria and they went on easily. They sound nice with plenty of tone and feel nice. Will buy again. Great value.
