A true surprise
Orfeo1608 24.02.2020
I use a lot of different instruments live, from lutes to flamenco guitars and much more. this is frankly a very good working way of amplifying acoustic instruments. It works fine. I suggest anyway to use a preamp to get a better sound.

No complaints

Needed something cheap and easy to aplify a banjo in band sessions. Got just that. Keeps falling off every now and then but that just adds to the live exprerience. Level of sound was surprisingly good for such low price.

The price quality
Vannpark 19.11.2021
I use it with an irish bouzouki and the sound is really correct for that price. Zero feedback. Also i use it with some percusions like thunder tube's and the sound is awesome.

Not bad at all!
pepepe 19.12.2019
I bought this pick up for a back up for my acoustic guitar and it happened that I had a situation where I had to use it. On my Epiphone Masterbilt Deluxe electronics got busted on a gig and I placed the Harley Benton TrueTone T-20 right away on the body near the bridge. Just a bit of EQ and the guitar sounded not bad at all. I was really surprised what sound you can get from this 15 euro pickup. Once again, I wiil say BRAVO to the guys whoever are behind Harley Benton as this is not the first and not the last item I am buying from Harley Benton. Cheap stuff but trustful! Thanks Thomann!

Great value
Sardonicus M 13.03.2020
I purchased this to amplify a saz I recently purchased from Thomann. It comes with a little pack of sticky stuff very much like blu tack. Once you get the placement correct, you get a great sound. Although this may depend on your instrument and of course the amplifier you are using.
All in all a great way to amplify an acoustic instrument with out permanent modification.

Great Pickup
mnoach 11.03.2023
I had bought this for my resonator guitar, but it is too thick to mount on the biscuit. My bad, should have checked dimensions. I have tested it on a few other instruments, using Thomann's special tape (you need this if you temporarily mount pickups on an instrument). The output is great, good sound, high level. The PU is well built, and being made of wood, it blends well with spruce and similar wood.

I love it. For this price this is the best I could find and try.
Miguel Francisco 14.12.2017
Makes my good artesanal guitar to sound through the PA without loosing too much. It does not destroy the look and does not damage the finishing. It is inexpensive. What more to ask for this price?
Thanks Thomann.

excellent

This little thing helped me to convert my guitar to a pluggable acoustic. Simply glued it in the guitar and connected a bullet jack which I mounted at the strap holder. Very acceptable sound quality. Great!

It translates the vibrations really well. The wooden envelope looks nice as well!

a (positive) surprise!

Bought this due to the low price (I believe it was even lower at the time) just to experiment with it before buying anything more expensive... and I would buy it again! The sound is not always perfect (it depends on the instrument you use it for, I've tried it with a variety of instruments or "instruments"), but it's clear and a lot louder than expected. The rest is up to you really: finding the right spot(s) to apply it, what to use it for, EQing, etc.
