Crappy quality screw

Screw head broke off as I was screwing in the button on my brand new guitar project. Now I have to deal with removing the screw post without any purchase; I guess drilling it out of a fully finished guitar body. A strap button screw needs to be one of the most reliable ones in the entire guitar. Very disappointing quality.
