I'm an experienced player and I exclusively use Harley Benton guitars to record and play gigs. I wanted guitars that ticked all the boxes but that I didn't mind denting/scratching in the live environment.

This one was the best out of the box out from the 3 that I own, but all of them far exceed the cost when it comes to their quality, tone and playability.

Frets didn't need filing which I normally expect when buying guitars online and getting them shipped. There paintwork is flawless. The neck is to DIE FOR (roasted maple just looks so nice) and the sound is exactly what I needed (high output humbucker with coil tap for certain songs we play - btw this gives more of a tele bridge pickup vibe than a strat single coil bridge pickup vibe). Also, the neck is amazing (in terms of looks and playability) BUT is a little thicker than a proper strat neck (just in case that's what you were expecting). However, it isn't "thick" and is still totally comfortable to play.

Lightweight, looks amazing and has locking tuners which I always prefer.

The only work I did on this guitar was to lubricate the nut which I do on all my guitars anyway.

10/10!!! I just wish we had more colours to choose from for lefties (hint hint!)

Je me suis offert 2 guitares , celle-ci et une Sire L7 TB new gen.Et bien je peu vous dire sur parole que la marque harley benton a bien évolué , et dans le bon sens ! Vu qu'en gaucher nous n'avons pas trop le choix des couleurs , j'aurais pu prendre la meme en modern + mais je me suis dit que j'allais déjà par commencer par la modern "normal" . Une tuerie , le bord de frette est meme mieu fini que la Sire , pourtant 600€ plus cher !! rien a dire sur la finition , vraiment rien , le confort est présent et la tenue d'accord impeccable , la seul difference avec la Sire est le volume de sortie , plus important sur la Sire , sinon , c'est que du +++ . Franchement , moins de 200€ , si une autre couleur sort , je reprend direct , en plus meme les potarts , swiych , jack , je vous jure qu'on a affaire a une guitare qui vaudrais ces 400 a 600€ , facile .. Et ce n'est pas que pour les débutant , loin de là , au vu de la qualité global , je prévois de lui poser un plaque SL de chez EMG . Je recommande fortement

Pour un prix défiant toutes concurrences, je ne lui trouve pas de défauts cosmétiques. Les frettes n'accrochent pas, les tuners sont fiables et le son strat est convaincant. Le plus : le humbucker qui est bienvenue quand on pousse plus.

Bref, encore un bon numéro de chez Harley Benton.
