I ordered a Harley Benton SC-550 II BCF and was excited to receive it, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
The first guitar arrived with visible scratches on the body and a dent near the edge. I immediately contacted Thomann, and to their credit, they arranged a return and sent me a replacement.
However, the second guitar also arrived with scratches, and this time there were functional issues as well:
– The jack input was loose and wobbly,
– One of the tone knobs was unstable and poorly mounted.
At that point, I decided not to request another exchange. Instead, I asked for a full refund, as I had completely lost confidence in the quality control for this model.
I'm deeply disappointed that two instruments in a row arrived in unacceptable condition. I expected better quality and inspection standards from Thomann and Harley Benton.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this model — and Harley Benton guitars in general — are highly praised on YouTube and other social platforms, often being described as offering incredible quality for the price. Unfortunately, my personal experience did not live up to that reputation.
