Bought two of these to replace a worn out switch for a heavy handed player, this type of switch tends to be more rugged so chose this product specifically.
The first one went in fine but seemed a bit stiff and when it was inspected whatever held the shaft in place (an E clip) had come off and the switch fell apart in my hands. At least I was wise enough to buy two as the second went in flawlessly and functions with a reassuring feel of quality. It still worked out half the price of a premium switch.

Kinda works, but not with confidence
So the build itself is fine, doesn't feel flimsy. However, the positions are not "firm" enough and the problem is positions 2 and 4 can be tricky to achieve as there is a wiggle in the switch which can cross over to the nearby positions. Works for a cheap fix for a budget guitar, but definitely not something you want to keep in a quality instrument.

Works great! Just be careful not to touch the metal of the screws or blade when playing or it will make a loud hum.
