Harley Benton MSB-5 ASP

I was looking for a multi-scale bass with a preamp and wanted a less expensive one to try and mess around with.

This bass has exceeded my expectations. It needed a small intonation adjustment, but otherwise was set up very well. The frets were level and finished nicely, truss rod was adjusted well, action was even really good to begin with.

It plays well, sounds nice, looks beautiful, feels amazing. It is an exceptional deal. Highly recommend.

I have some VERY expensive guitars and this one genuinely fits in no problem at all. The eq is not noisy at all on my model, bought at the start of 2026 so either it’s a lottery or they have fixed this issue entirely
