Light weight but carry straps not easy to use

The case is light weight and relatively well padded the storage is pants though. The inside area does
really allow you put much inside such as leads pedals etc.I have my iPad in the front pocket and that’s it.Wouldn’t bother getting one of those but it came in a package.

Huge value, huge case

The Harley Benton LightCase-El-Bass appears to be well made and excels at the reason I purchased it. It protects my bass well and far better than any gig bag I have tried. I recommend this case if you are looking for some additional protection without the extra expense. size, weight, and awkwardness of a hard case. I only have one knock against this case, and it is to be expected. The case is bulky, not nearly as convenient as a good gig bag. But, I didn't buy it for convenience. I bought it for protecting my bass. This it does well.

Honest

It met my expectations. I was looking for an affordable, compact yet protective case for my brand new bass; and the HB El-Bass has all of it.
It fits the rear seats in my car, so does behind the door of my kids room. I am satisfied.

The in between

I would have bought the hardcase but this was a cheaper option. I do not own an expensive guitar so I believe it was a good decision.

It's pretty big, has a lot of free space in it. You can store at least few pedals, cables, straps, a tuner, notebook ..you name it.

Midrange quality I would say, better than a gig bag deffinitely. Zipper looks durable, it says waterproof on the page but I sure won't be testing. Pretty light.
All in all, I am satisfied.
Will buy another one for electric guitar.

It's NOT a hard case.

Perfect case for transporting your bass/guitar in a van/car for a gig. It's not a hard case and not suited for touring but it's not intended to be. Well worth the money but, 2 small comments. It could use some more padding/reinforcement on the bottom part/the lowest point of the case is, where the instrument is heaviest/biggest and therefore most prone to damage, and lastly, have the strap more on an offset (it's in middle and therefore obviously tilts a bit whilst carrying). Otherwise a very good case which, due to the 'form of a case' easier to pack than a gig bag and protects the instrument much more too. And inexpensive.

Good and light case

Surprisingly light with better protection than a regular gig bag, thanks to styrofoam I guess.

BUT. There is a flaw that no one talks about - case is shallow and those visible two lines in cover lid that press onto bass when closed are so designed that they press onto potentiometers! It makes me worried really, it goes right over stacked volume pot on Marcus Miller V series - and cover lid gets visibly bulged on outer side. So if it gets a hit, someone puts an amp on it expecting the instrument is protected, well... could go bad. Luckily styrofoam can be pressed in by hand or some tool. So please look into that when using the case.
