Intro: As the title says, this is an excellent guitar for the price and I'm happy with my purchase, but Harley Benton could up their quality control a bit.
Good: You get a premium feeling roasted maple (satin) neck which is very comfortable to slide up and down. And you get stainless steel frets! The color of the body is not as vibrant in-person as it is on the pictures, which was a bit disappointing, but it looks very good nonetheless. Floyd Rose 1000 system is great. The action is fine, although I like it a bit lower and I will adjust it manually. The Tesla pickups are much better than I expected, to be honest!
Not so good: There are a few noticeable chips in the neck and on the body. I would say around 1 of them is very noticeable and 3 others you notice easily if you're up close but not if you're more than 2 meters away.
A funny negative is that this was by and large the dirtiest guitar I have ever unboxed. This includes brand-new guitars and second hand. It came with bits of dust, small bits of fabric, debris, and some sort of scrapable gray goo/filth on the gloss finish on the body. Now, this is the least of my worries as a dry wipe across the whole instrument was enough to make it clean and beautiful again, so don't take this too negatively, it's just a remark as it might have been exposed at some point and repackaged.
While having stainless steel frets is great, they are rough on the top of the frets and need to be polished, and although most are rolled correctly, one or two need to be properly rolled as well.
Conclusion: I'm amazed at how much Harley Benton have thrown into a guitar of this price range, and apart from some imperfections on the finish, everything else can be fixed with a bit of care and love that you should always give to your guitar, regardless of the price or brand, to make it your own. The guitar comes highly recommended.
