Great unit but no where near 100w

Tried through 8ohm 1/12 8ohm 4/12 high-end cabs and just with guitars going into it. Has to be on 10 to be heard clearly with kit and bass. It sounds like a 30w amp volume wise.

I had great hopes of this pedal, alas I am disapointed. The amount of power and volume it can produce is very good, however the overal sound-quality is not so good. I paired it with a Harley Benton v30 cab but the overal tone from the amp is really not very good. Mostly this is owing to the 3 tone controls that simply don't produce a pleasing sound.

Underwhelming

Unfortunately, the overall volume produced by this amplifier is underwhelming. I connected it with a (real) tube pre-amp which was pushing quite a lot but it just does not feel that it gives 100W at a 2x12, 8ohm cabinet. I really needed to boost the volume all the way up to start getting some actual punchiness and physicality of sound - goodbye headroom, obviously.
To be fair, there are some positives: it is well-built for sure. Also, very responsive EQ. Still, since I bought it to get loud(er) volume, I am afraid it will be going back to Thomann.
Speaking of which, as always excellent delivery service.
