Taylor level tones at a fraction of the cost
Unbelievable premium solid wood guitar that somehow plays like an electric! It’s absolutely stunning to look at, but even more enjoyable to hear from. It’s a lot of fun to play and extremely comfortable with the solid wood arm rest. I would have thought it was impossible to build a guitar this great for twice the price that I paid; I don’t know how they do it. The was the best overall guitar purchase I have ever made, hands down.

totally fell in love with the design at first sight so went for it.
and what can i say...
it arrived in about a week in spain.
opened the box and was pleasantly surprised. it looks just perfect in my opinion.
the finish, the wood, the armrest, everything is top notch, it really looks like a far more expensive instrument.
the setup was quite ok, i did lower the action a little bit as is was too high for my taste. nothing that couldn´t be fixed in 10 minutes ;-)
the frets needed a polish as they were a bit rough. again an easy fix. fret ends were good, no sharp edges.
had a bit of a problem at first with the 12 gauge strings because i was used to 10s(not the guitar´s fault anyway), but after a couple of days i got used to it and now i think it just plays beautifully.
the sound is very warm and quite loud even unplugged.
the pu is good as well, i like the different design as its tinier than the usual square ones and does it´s job really well.
also has a built in tuner which is great.
the stock mechanics are good with a good ratio. i changed them to black chrome ones but only for estetical reasons. changed the pins to black ebony ones as well for the same reason.
i am really happy with this guitar, would recommend and would definately buy it again. the price is more than reasonable for that instrument. good job thomann.
pros
the design
plays really well
warm, rich and loud sound
armrest
cons
frets needed polish
strings have to be loosened to change battery
other than those not really major issues i can´t say anything bad about it. beautiful and great guitar

A Spectacular Beauty
When I saw this Mahogany body with the black face it struck me as one of the most beautiful, classy acoustics I had ever seen. I almost did NOT buy it because I really didn't believe the real thing could live up to the photos.
OOOh Man! The dak mahogany accented by the lighter wood trim - almost like pinstriping - is really a show stopper. And if that wasn't enough, they had to go and provide this instrument with a great set up. I have a Zager 900, recognized as one of the easiest to play acoustics anywhere - this plays just and smooth and easy. To believe the sound that comes out of this guitar you have to hear it. They really need to put samples up.
The only fault I could find with this instrument was the composite fretboard. On the one hand, it feels a bit scratchy when you perform a bend, but on the other, it seems to hold up to the very low humidity here a lot better than my Zager, which is Rosewood.
Hey - it really is a very beautiful guitar, and it really does play well, and it really does sound great.

What a treat!
Just opened this up and it is stunning. Neck feels great! Sound is all there. Plays like a charm. Sounds great plugged in. Finish is flawless. Home run, win win...whatever you want to call it. Only very minor comment is make the dots on the side of the neck white or pearl instead of black so they will show up on stage. Would give 6 stars!!

Surprisingly good
All specs are to my liking, except the fingerboard. Have to say - pleasantly surprised. Of course it is not high end in all manners, but for the price it is incredible. Sounds terrific, and looks lik $$$ Only drawback is the line out - which does not match the sound from the guitar.

Stunning Instrument
This is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever owned. If I was handed it blind I would put it easily in the 1500+ EUR range on build quality and materials alone. Gorgeous round tone great for a mix of genres. The chamfer/cutaway adds a lovely element of playability to the guitar and feels truly premium.
If I can make one negative comment it would be that the strap lug on the bottom is hard to get a thick strap onto (Mine was a Mono The Betty), hardly meaningful given the incredible value for money at play here.

Beautiful Guitar! Very nice finish.
This is a beautiful Guitar, Black top, mahogany back and sides. Has a turquoise pick guard that I immediately removed. I think it detracted from the black finish. Setup was almost perfect, i did trim down the bridge a bit to lower the action to my liking. Plays very well and sounds great. I think the sound will also just improve with time as the wood ages a bit. I think this is a great value and a wicked nice playing and looking guitar. Thanks for making mine!

Beautiful solid body acoustic
I use my guitar only for practicing and private use. The sound is great, and as this is my first all-solid acoustic, I'm really impressed with the difference between this and my other guitars, which are laminated.
I didn't liked the pickguard at all so I removed it. The finish of the guitar is not flawless (paintjob get messy on some borders) but overall it's a great looking piece of hardware.
The fishman pickup sounds great, but the battery drains out fairly quickly if you leave the guitar plugged in, even with the amp being off.
Conclusion:
Really happy with my purchase!
I'm at the time waiting for my next HB guitar.
