Jag har inte så många tidigare Valthorn att jämföra med men detta är hittills det bästa jag spelat på. Jämfört med mitt King Fidelio som jag precis spelat på tidigare är detta avsevärt bättre intonationsmässigt. Det är också enklare att träffa rätt på höjden.
Det är en tydligare skillnad på hur olika stämda F- och Bb- slingorna är. På Fideliot var gick det lättare att fuska i intervallen och spela på Bb-hornet även i botten. Så är inte fallet med Hoyer Heritage 6801. F-slingan är helt klart att föredra i bottenregistret.
En väldigt trevlig funktion är att den tredje stämbygeln stämmer båda slingorna samtidigt. Det var en positiv överraskning som jag inte visste om innan köpet. Jag fick köpa instrumentet lite "i blindo" då det tyvärr är väldigt svårt att prova nya instrument i Sverige.
Skruvklocka är för övrigt wow. Ska du köpa ett nytt horn, köp ett med skruvklocka!
