Good selection of solos from Miles Davis.

I use it for playing the soprano sax. I think trumpet solos fit nicely on the soprano except for some of the lowest notes. I find Miles solos easier to play than Coltranes or Parkers. I've played for more or less four years so I'm still beginner to average. Arrangement layout is easy to read. Would have been nice with a link or CD to listen to the solos as well.

Après Charlie Parker, Miles Davis a droit à son Omnibook. Le bouquin contient 50 relevés d'excellente qualité. Les morceaux vont de 1945 ("Billie's Bounce" avec Parker) à 1968 ("Stuff" tiré de Miles in the Sky).
On peut regretter qu'il n'y ait que peu de morceaux des années 60 et aucun des décennies suivantes mais à part ça je ne vois rien à redire.
