Versatile but dont know how long they will last

If you dont mind paying this much money for two metal rods with some felt on the end, these are good beaters which work on all gong sizes from 8" to 32" and perhaps more.
Two problems for me - there is a hard edge on the felt join and if you hit the gong at that point, you get a different sound (I have marked my ones so I don't do this by accident) and secondly, the felt distorts on impact so the ends become uneven. This means the felt squashes over time and the beaters will eventually be no good.

Absolut zu empfehlende Gongschlägel.

Erzeugen einen vollen Sound und lassen den Gong erst richtig klingen.
Die Mallets liegen sehr gut in der Hand und haben genau das richtige Gewicht.
Sehr gut kontrollierbar und präzise spielbar, auch bei sehr leisen Schlägen.

Späte Überraschung

Zunächst dachte ich, dies sei ein Fehlkauf gewesen, denn der erzeugte Klang ist relativ hart und akzentuiert. - Später jedoch merkte ich, daß nach warmen Klängen angespielt, der Wechsel zu diesen Schlägern wunderbare Akzente ermöglicht. Also eine Bereicherung der Klangfarben an einem großen Gong. Für kleinere Gongs eher ungeeignet.

Wow wat een geluid

Ik heb ze gekocht om mijn gong (90 cm) mee te bereiden. Zo noem je het bespelen van je gong. Ik was ontzettend verbaast toen ik mijn gong aansloeg. Wow wat een geluid. mijn gong zong geweldig. Ze zijn vrij zwaar in de hand maar wat een effect. Ben zeer blij met deze aankoop.
