Cool but not that universal.
I've ordered this extension nut for my strat-style guitar with 7.25" fretboard radius, but immediately noticed that this piece was obviously designed for Gibson-style guitars because of 12" radius on the bottom of it as well as slightly longer base for behind-the-nut area (probably with angled headstock in mind).
But when installed on my Gibson it does the job. No buzz, string action is noticeably higher and it allows you to play with a slide without any problems. Probably you'll have to get used to 1-st and 6-th strings being placed wider than an actual fretboard width, but still it's a good and cheap alternative to buying a new instrument.

Easy conversion
Very quick and easy way of converting a regular guitar into a slide guitar. Great tunig stability.

Does what it should
It's a lot of fun to play "fake Weissenborn" with your acoustic, especially for this price. Get yourself a tonebar and thumbpick, tune to something easy like open D or open Dsus4 (DADGAD) and off you go!
Pros:
Cheap, easy to use (just loosen your strings a lot, slide the nut under the strings over the actual guitar nut, tighten strings back)
Cons:
Well... It doesn't look very good... But for this price and purpose, who cares, really.
