Locking tuners

Good quality replacements for standard tuners, locking tuners ensure the rake angle between the nut and tuner remains at the guitar manufacturers angle and helps maintain good tuning,
Last ones corroded when subjected to a leaking planet waves dehumidifier pack. Hope these don't do the same as they are not cheap.

I bought a Gibson Les Paul standard that came with the same tuners but not locking... the difference in price in the thomann website is 40€...
A shame that Gibson can't put directly the locking tuners in a 2500€ guitar... I would gladly pay ... 40€ more for the guitar, no problem.
I had to pay thrice that. Thank you Gibson.

Bought to replace standard tuners on a 60’s Gibson Les Paul. Simple replacement but makes string changes a breeze and helps stop string slippage on begs so more stable tuning. Keeps the original appearance too, highly recommended!

Un peu trop courtes...

J'ai acheté ces mécaniques pour ma nouvelle Gibson ES-339 (nouvelle version 2018) qui est déjà équipé de mécanique Groover mais non bloquantes.

Sur le papier tout était parfait : même design, même finition (à peu près car le Nickel n'avait pas exactement la même teinte), même diamètre, etc. Je me suis donc dit que ma guitare conserverait son aspect original sans aucune modification à apporter mais en ajoutant la fonctionnalité autobloquante toujours sympathique pour le changement de cordes et la tenue de l'accordage.

Malheureusement ces mécaniques se sont avérées être 2/3mm plus courte en hauteur que les Groover originales installées sur ma Gibson ES339 et du coup le plot ne sort pas entièrement. C'est utilisable mais c'est pas optimum en plus de ne pas être esthétique.

Dommage, je les renvoie :(
