I use this on a wooden table next to my desk* in conjunction with a Gravity MA Goose L and a mic.
Pros:
- Secure clamp, holds evenly and hard.
- Padding that comes into contact with the surface or the object you're clamping onto seems to protect from getting scratches or marks very well.
- Threading feels strong and even
- Rubber grip helps to tighten and loose
Cons:
- The item shipped with the thread covered in fine black powder. (paint or metal)
*IF YOU PLAN TO ATTACH THIS ON A DESK WITH A KEYBOARD ON TOP, you must have a shock mount on your mic. Otherwise you can not talk while typing, it will resonate VERY loudly.
I fixed my issue by placing the clamp on a desk next to my computer desk and using a goose to adjust the mic in front of me.

Table clamp for goosenecks and stuff
I had one of these break on me before after only light use... The attachment just snapped off! So definitely go easy on it. The other one I got has lasted at least a year though so maybe that one was a faulty unit. I'm going to give Gravity the benefit of the doubt here though as I generally love their products.

It’s easy to use and made from good-quality materials. The only downside is the tightening handle, it’s quite small and rounded, which makes it a bit harder to grip and secure properly. However, once tightened, it holds firmly and does the job well.

Reealy well built full metal clamp
I was expecting some of the parts of this to be plastic. It's all metal. Except for the tensioner parts, obviously. It came to me a little scratched, but I like everything else about it.
