I just changed my worn (after 13-14 years) tusq nut with another one. Reliable as always. Pay attention to your string spacing. I got mine correctly (41mm nut width with given string spacing) thanks to different specs available at Thomann.
It’s very well notched and only needs a little bit of sanding from bottom and top.

Well worth the money. The difference this has made the tuning stability is awesome, no matter how much string bending I do, it just says in tune.

Acheté suite à refrettage de manche de squire affinity stratocaster, ce sillet s'adapte parfaitement aux dimensions de son logement (montage légèrement en force).
Très peu d'ajustements à faire: un léger ébavurage, un peu de ponçage pour régler l'action des cordes et pour ajuster la longueur du sillet à la largeur de manche, quelques points de glue et c'est réglé. C'est installé en moins de 10 minutes.
Une fois installé: très bon rendu niveau son, pas de point dur/saut lors de l'accordage, excellente tenue de l'accord.
Bref, excellent produit !
