Not a direct swap for 2000 Jackson RR5

I hoped it would, but unfortunatelly its not.
Cant say much about quality of work though, it feels solid as you'd expect, but Im not sure if I will use them as I dont really trust my drilling skills

Gute Qualität, aber nur für Papiergitarren

Diese Mechaniken sind in 2 unterschiedlichen Längen enthalten, 3 etwas kürzere, 3 etwas längere.

Die längeren Tuner passen bei meiner Explorer-Kopie gerade so, aber die kürzeren Tuner nicht annähernd. Selbst wenn die Sechskant-Mutter über-fest angezogen ist, liegt sie etwa auf der Mitte des Lochs durch das eigentlich die Saite geführt werden sollte, verdeckt es also.

Die Kopfplatte meiner Explorer-Kopie ist 1.25 cm dick. Auszug der Kopfplatten-Dicken einiger meiner anderen Gitarren: Gibson LP Tribute 1.3 cm, Gibson SG Std 1.4 cm, PRS S2 1.4 cm, Fender Mexico 1.4 cm, ESP M-II 1.6 cm.

Für welche papierdünnen Kopfplatten diese Mechaniken also gemacht sind ist mir ein Rätsel. Für die ungewöhnlich dünne Kopfplatte meiner Explorer-Kopie sind sie jedenfalls zu kurz und somit komplett nutzlos.

Diese güldenen Mechaniken haben bei mir NO-BRAND Mechaniken glücklich ersetzt. Mir gefällt auch das farblich abgesetzte Drehrad gut!
Drehrad voll aufdrehen, dann passt bei mir auch 011-052 tadellos durch, im Verbund mit schwarzen GTech Sattel und vorgedehnten Saiten keine Verstimmungen zu bemerken.

Ottime meccaniche, la rifinitura non impeccabile

Miglioramento tangibile e immediato, dei Locking tuner esteticamente bellissimi, ma soprattutto funzionali. Purtroppo la rifinitura non è ideale, ci sono piccole inconsistenze, invisibili al pubblico una volta montate, ma voi saprete che ci sono. Nulla da dire sulla qualità invece. Ovviamente non è plug n play per modello Fender e Squier, ma prendere le misure per fare i fori per la piccola vite in dotazione vi porterà via poco tempo con la foratura compresa. Consiglio mio usate una punta per il legno fate solo una guida non profonda e poi avvitate di forza così non rischiate di forare più in là del necessario, ovviamente settate a velocità bassa la rotazione del trapano. Do 5 stelle perché l'inconsistenza nella finitura non è così evidente sulla parte posteriore dorata (la rotellina colore grigio alluminio con logo Gotoh invece è impeccabile), esteticamente sono comunque molto belle. Le consiglio? Assolutamente sì.
