Vintage-Juwel mit beeindruckender Dynamik und Flexibilität

Dieses Set lag eine Weile im Regal, aber jetzt kamen die HB-Classica (BR BK & NE BK) endlich in meiner Testgitarre zum Einsatz. Vorab kurz die Testumgebung für die Einordnung:

Potis: Master-Volume & Tone (B500K), Kondensator: 473 CBB81.

Schaltung: Gradual-Tap (stufenloser Split) für beide PUs; Push/Pull schaltet zwischen 50s-Wiring und Modern-Wiring.

Verkabelung: 0,50 mm² OFC-Litzen (99,99% Kupfer), sternförmige Erdung. Gemessene Last: 528,5 kΩ.

Messwerte & Verarbeitung
Gotoh macht hier eine Punktlandung. Während der Hersteller 7,67 kΩ (Neck) und 8,80 kΩ (Bridge) angibt, liegen meine gemessenen Werte bei 7,64 kΩ und 8,87 kΩ. Die Alnico #2 Magnete versprechen schon auf dem Papier klassischen Vintage-Flair.

Sound-Check
Humbucker-Modus: Wer High-Gain-Monster sucht, ist hier falsch. Man bekommt einen ehrlichen, klassischen Vintage-Sound. Der Output ist moderat, dafür ist die Dynamik extrem hoch.

Split-Eigenschaften: Hier liegt die wahre Stärke. Im Full-Split klingen sie drahtig und fast schon nach Telecaster.

Highlight "Gradual-Tap": Durch das stufenlose Zumischen der zweiten Spule via Blending-Poti (Stellung 2-3) bekommt man einen herrlich "rotzigen" P90-Charakter. Die Bridge-Position liefert im Split einen bissigen "Icepeak"-Twang, der sich (auf Stellung 4-5) wunderbar in Richtung Rory Gallagher trimmen lässt.

Fazit
Die Gotoh Classica sind ehrliche Tonabnehmer für Spieler, die ihren Sound über Anschlagsdynamik und das Volume-Poti definieren. In Kombination mit einem 50s-Wiring entfalten sie eine Klarheit, die man sonst nur von teuren Boutique-Pickups kennt. Ein absoluter Preis-Leistungs-Killer für Blues, Classic Rock und alle, die dynamische Clean-Sounds lieben!
