Great "drop-in" tremolo
This trem will fit 99% of the formerly floyd rose guitars you want to retrofit. It is not always a direct drop in. The biggest change is the new posts require you to drill a wider and deeper insert. Get it wrong and they have a closed bottom, so you cannot extract them if the hole is too shallow.
Also the tuning screws tend to be on the long side, so you might need to drill some clearance into the back of your tremolo recess.
All the negatives aside, it is an amazing tremolo of high quality materials with very good tuning stability when paired with the gotoh locking nut. It has to be pointed out that this tremolo has by far the best tremolo arm design I have seen on any tremolo, including Floyd Originals and Ibanez Edge series. The claw is really robust and the springs resist harmonic reverberation rather nicely.
Overall it is great, but you will need about an hour or two of concentrated labor to retrofit if you know what you are doing.
