A great improvement

I bought these to replace the big rubber band strings on my fretless electro-acoustic ukulele. An immediate improvement. I can now slide along the string, the friction of the rubber string prevented this previously. The smaller diameter of the strings gives slightly greater space between them, so less accidental muting. I am going to have to make some small adjustments to the nut to account for the smaller diameter, maybe even replace the nut, but the improvement brought by these strings is worth it.

gute Alternative zu den Gummis

Ich kam mit den Aquila-Gummisaiten auf meinem Gold Tone Micro-Bass 25" nicht zurecht und die MBLNS sind die Alternative !
Akustisch lauter wie mit den Gummie-saiten !
Klanglich geht?s schon Richtung Stahl-Roundwound?s aber es ist immer noch Akustik-sound/feeling vorhanden.
Die Um-Wicklung ist sehr rauh, rauher als ich das von Roundwounds sonst gewohnt bin.
Der Microbass klingt mit diesen Saiten über meinen Markbass Micro 60 ausgesprochen fett, rund, geil, gut !
Sogar Slap-sounds sind mit angepasster EQ-Einstellung jetzt drin .
In meinem ersten Saiten-Satz war die G-Saite defekt , der Satz wurde mir dann von Thomann auf Kulanz ersetzt.
Hier geht mein Dank noch ans Thomann-Team !

Eccellente set di corde per Gold Tone Micro Bass 25, il piccolo basso e' diventato un vero basso acustico ma molto più trasportabile, rispetto a quelli offerti da altri brand.
