Good value set of files
I've had a couple of sets of files and ended up wanting to try something other than the REALLY expensive ones. I saw these and thought I'd give them a go.
Upon receipt I checked the cutting edge with a pair of callipers and got some varying results. To ensure I'm cutting at the correct width I simply marked the files with black pen where it exceeded the target cut by more than 0.002".
I have used these to re-cut a GraphTech nut, a couple of bone nuts and an aluminium nut. All have been very successful with no string binding or slippage.
I'm very happy with the files and will continue to use them until blunt!

Necessary but expensive
If you want to quickly and accurately fix/cut your nuts (ouch!) than a set of these is almost necessay, even though I made do with folded sandpaper and string bits for most of my musician's life. The most expensive item perhaps on Thomann's catalog on a value-per-actual-monetary-amount-paid basis.
Probably superior quality to most anything of the sort you could get directly from China. So, yes.

Good quality file, but with flat buttom.
This files combine triangle file and straight nut file. the only thing I wish is that the button of the file was U oval shaped so that it can support better the strings.

Simple but they do the job
This is a simple set to adjust the nut of a guitar.
I needed to do minor adjustments to some guitars and this set edge nut files did the job very good.
When you're planning to do it for the first time,
be patient and don't overdo it and you'll be allright.
After that you can call yourself 'Luthier' ;-)

Great set of tools
Great set of tools, the last of their kind you'll ever have to buy. I really like their handles and the fact they are color coded. The price is a bit steep, but tools are always a bit expensive, especially if they are good quality.

Good quality tools
These are excellent value - had avoided nut files for years as they were all so expensive then came across these. They've paid for themselves already because I've not had to go to a luthier with nuts for my parts casters. Seem to be good quality.
