Retro looking cymbal stand

I found just what I was looking for in this retro looking cymbal stand.

Well built, easy to put up & down plus, a great price. As with most boom arm stands it helps stability if you can have the boom positioned over one of the legs (especially if you're mounting a large cymbal on it).

The only possible downside might be the height. It only extends to about 97cm with the boom arm horizontal which may be a little short for some crash positions. However, as I bought it for my ride on a 4-piece kit it's more than adequate.

bit flimsy

I found this boom stand to be lightweight but not entirely sturdy. I have a thin 22" ride on this stand and it doesnt look to be that comfortable under the weight of it. Ive also noticed that it doesnt sit the flat on the ground. if you like your cymbals high this stand could be a problem for you.

expensive and not great

problem with Gibraltar is that you pay high prices, but expect sturdiness. was a bit disappointed when i realised this one was not as solid as i expected, but still stands in its feet and does the job!

Nachbesserung dringend empfohlen

An sich ein sehr guter, leichter Beckenständer mit hoher Stabilität, der einen langlebigen Eindruck macht. Der Preis geht absolut in Ordnung.

ABER: Bei diesem Ständer gibt jeweils ZWEI Feststellschrauben (einmal Flügelschraube, einmal Vierkantschraube - einmal für den Fuß, einmal für den Neigungswinkel). Der Grund hierfür bleibt für mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Stabilität wäre durch eine einzige Flügelschraube ebenso gewährleistet, vor allem bei so einem leichten Ständer. Und dann noch Vierkantschrauben zu verbauen, für die man bei jedem Aufbau, jedem Abbau und jeder Feinjustierung extra einen Stimmschlüssel benutzen muss... Sorry, das geht so nicht und ist im Profialltag ein unverhältnismässiger Mehraufwand, den Gibraltar leicht aus der Welt schaffen könnte und auch dringend sollte.
