Wasted money :(

I bought a set of these bags in 2021...very poor quality for the price. The handles literally "disintegrated" in just one year of use. I'm very disappointed considering this is a Geva premium product, maybe I was expecting too much...hmm!? I looked for a complaint, but nothing... This is definitely not a product for professionals!

Not to big for a 22x16 bass drum

I don't know why Gewa does not offer the 22x16 bag size in the SPS series but after trying it out I found that this 22x18 bag i a good fit for a 22x16 drum and not unnecessary big for that size.

Ein Koffer, der sich als Tasche tarnt

Vor kurzem war die Zeit reif für ein anständiges Schlagzeug, es wurde ein gebrauchtes, dennoch nicht billiges Premier Genista. Nun braucht ein hochwertiges Instrument auch hochwertigen Schutz.

Vor einiger Zeit bot Thomann die Pearl Vinnie Paul Signature-Snare als Auslaufmodell im Paket mit einer GEWA SPS-Tasche an, welches ich mir dann ob der vergleichsweise exotischen Tiefe der Snare von 8" auch so bestellte. Mein Erwartungen an die Tasche waren damals nicht besonders, kamen mir bisher doch eher normale, weich gepolsterte Taschen unter, die üblicherweise nur an Boden und Decke verstärkt waren.

Die SPS-Tasche kommt da schon deutlich anders daher; nicht nur Boden und Decke sind verstärkt, auch die "Zarge" der Tasche ist zwar flexibel, aber alles andere als wabbelig. Die Polsterung im Inneren ist dick und weich, die Reißverschlüsse wirken vertrauenserweckend, ebenso der mit Gummi versehenen Griff. So hat sich die Tasche auch als durchaus roadtauglich erwiesen, wiegt dabei aber weniger als Hardcases und kommt mir preislich auch vernünftiger vor.

Als nun zu besagtem neuen Schlagzeug Taschen angeschafft werden mussten, landete ich wieder bei der entsprechenden GEWA SPS. Die Bassdrum passt ohne Quetschen hinein, wackelt aber auch nicht übermäßig hin und her. Polsterung, Verstärkung und Verarbeitung sind ähnlich wie bei der Snaretasche, wobei durch die Größere Fläche alle verstärkten Teile etwas weniger steif wirken als bei der Snaretasche. Dennoch weiß ich meine Kick darin sehr gut aufgehoben, auch als Basis eines Trommelstapels hält die Tasche wacker ihre Form.

Es sind drei Griffe angebracht, einer ist stark gummiert, zwei weitere in einfacher Ausführung liegen sich gegenüber, sodaß die Tasche allein oder zu zweit sehr bequem getragen werden kann.

Insofern bekommt die Tasche eindeutig meine Empfehlung, da sie zu einem in meinen Augen noch angemessenen Preis die Vorteile von Taschen und Koffern verbindet.

Utilisée pour une 22x16. L'espace permet de rentrer la GC montée complète (pieds rabattus, la platine et cerclages). La 22x16 arrive au bord de la housse lorsque le "couvercle" est ouvert, il reste donc bien 2 pouces, mais ça ne flotte pas pour autant.
La poignée principale est parfaite, les 2 latérales le sont moins mais aucune inquiétude sur leur fiabilité. La sangle d'épaule réglable est également bienvenue.
Il aurait été intéressant d'avoir une accroche mousqueton de cette sangle sur la largeur en plus de la hauteur. Si ce n'est pas gênant pour les toms, pour la grosse ça peut l'être vu l'envergure de l'engin.
Comme pour toute la série SPS, la qualité de fabrication est là. En faisant attention lors du transport, la housse fait le reste pour minimiser les risques et le rembourrage permet d'éviter les nombreux chocs, fréquents d'ordinaire.
Probablement ce qui se fait de mieux en housse semi-rigide à ce jour !
