This is the best guitar for 1200 euros
Álex200 13.12.2025
I considered a lot of options in a budget up to 2000 with a tough case. I've always wanted an all solid guitar. But Spain is humid in winter, dry and hot in summer, and I live in a house without heating. Therefore, a plastic case is the best solution for successful tool storage. Furch company has been in my field of attention for a long time, I am impressed by their ideology, and I also like that their guitars are always made very neatly and cleanly.
Judge for yourself, the guitar is made of rosewood and Engelman spruce, the neck is made of mahogany, and the bridge, the pins, the fingerboard are made of ebony, and all this is done very well, both outside and inside (I noticed a few small drops of glue inside, but I managed to remove them with my hand). The sound of the guitar is very good, this is what I was looking for - not a dreadnought, bass and with a good, but not a ringing top. Because of its body, the guitar is very comfortable, and if you've never played a grand auditorium guitar before, it's a great combination of sound and convenience at the same time!
The pickup is great, I was thinking which one is better than SPE or VTC, and realized that convenient access to the battery, as well as quick access to the equalizer, is better for me than the VTC system.
Another feature is the weight of the neck. It's obviously heavier because of the CNR system. It doesn't matter to me, especially since the neck itself is very comfortable, 45 mm is what I was looking for. After the 43 mm Takamine guitar, it became convenient to play, although I have middle fingers.
I want to highlight the finish of the open pore guitar. Although there are "plus" guitars in the Furch line, which are more expensive and differ in the presence of varnish, I prefer the matte surface. It is tactilely more pleasant, does not leave traces, although in terms of protection it protects the guitar worse from minor damage.
So, this is a wonderful guitar in its budget! You can take a Taylor 214, but it will be made of plywood, although it sounds good enough.
By the way, the package arrived in terrible condition! The box was just opened and torn from two sides! But the guitar was packed in another box and therefore was not damaged.
