Perfect. Almost.
I really love this thing. It can be an attenuator and a power amp to make any amplifier having the 6L6 power section. There is also a line out which I haven’t used yet. You can have different impedances and so on. So to the thing that dosen give it the full score. When the top lid is on it hums. The power transformer’s hum goes to the output when active. This is solved by removing the to lid, but that’s not a good solution. So I modded it with U brackets to raise the top lid 25 mm. And now it’s perfect. So that’s the design. But I am very sensitive to hum and noise, maybe you are not?
