Not as good for me as the fibracell reed but well finished & packaged. Not as big a sound as I wanted but I will use it for practise. worth trying if you want a synthetic reed as everyone has a different set up but a bit soft sounding for me. ( I fight a guitar in a rock n roll band every weekend)

Ziemlich nahe am perfekten Blatt

Gespielt mit Rico Graftonite C5 und Yanagisawa 5 Mundstücken. Mein Standardblatt: V16 (2 und 2.5); ich spiele auch Java red (2) und ZZ (2.5). Genre: Rock und gelegentlich Jazz.

Mein erster Versuch mit Kunststoffblättern hat durchwegs positive Eindrücke hinterlassen. Ich habe dieses Blatt und das Filed M (=4) bestellt. Beide sind hervorragend verarbeitet, absolut symmetrisch. In der Ansprache war das Filed M 4 noch eine Spur besser als dieses Blatt, aber hier geht dennoch alles leichter als mit normalen Blättern. Obertonreihen, high notes, alles ist spielerisch. Die Stärke 3.5 lag mir besser als 4; ich würde daher raten, ein Forestone Blatt um 1.5 stärker zu kaufen als ein normales Blatt.
Der Sound ist ein wenig zu glatt. Leblos wäre das falsche Wort; mir fehlt aber die letzte Schärfe. Allerdings ist die Unfiled Version doch ein wenig rotziger als das extrem brave Forestone Filed, es kommt meinem Wunschsound näher als das Pendant in der schwarzen Packung.
Obwohl der Sound also nicht 100%ig ist wie gewünscht: Die problemlose Verwendung ohne langes Befeuchten ist für mich ausschlaggebend, denn Sax is mein Zweitinstrument und ich spiele nur eine Handvoll Songs am Sax.

Pratique, mais n'offre pas la sonorité des anches en roseau

Je ne comprends pas bien l'engouement pour ces anches.
Leur qualité est d'être faciles à jouer (pour moi, elles rendent jouables certains becs métal qui me seraient sinon inaccessibles).
Sinon, elles sont trop souples et n'offrent pas assez de résistance ... et en montant dans les forces, ont finit par ne pas trouver de son.
Le son est plutôt un peu brillant, il manque de profondeur pour mon goût.
Question fabrication, il faut aplanir systématiquement la surface du talon en contact avec la table (avec du papier de verre).

Empfehlenswert!

Ein empfehlenswertes Blatt. Von der Flexibilität her ist ein rotes Java z. B. im Jazzbereich besser. Aber als Unversalblatt ist es uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Achtung: Bei der Stärke ist Umrechnen nötig, am besten vorher Thomann anrufen oder googeln. Auf keinen Fall die gleichen Stärken wie normal bestellen.

Ansonsten seit ca. 3 Monaten im Gebrauch, bisher keine Abnutzungserscheinungen. Pflegeleicht.
