Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation

Have an outboard micpre, line in with no gain on the device, sounds really nice. Most important for this set up is converting to digital, and there is really no noise at all detectable. great value and works really well.

Only thing is, off button would be nice in future, or like, if the second power USB when plugged in, disables power from the usb from computer - so it can be switched off without unplugging. For now it just stays plugged in and lit up.

there’s no way a budget audio interface can sound this good, i tried a lot of them and none of them were able to catch the sound so majestically as this one.
Of course there are some minor issues i encountered: from time to time there’s a feedback in the higher frequencies, but with some eq that just disappears, plus it doesn’t happen all the time, so i don’t really know if it’s an issue with my electricity and its ground connection.
Nonetheless, it is my main device for recording guitar, bass and voice and it just sounds awesome.

I bought this to make my own music. Initially had some issues with noise, when I played backing track to overdub an additional instrument a loud buzzing noise suddenly appear. When switching sound output in the pc (win11) and putting focusrite again, it dissapeared temporary but it always came back. However after removal/re-installation of asio driver all is good now. In general a good interface, however if you want to connect a stereo keyboard (L + R) + guitar you will be short on inputs

Really good choice for home recording guitar, bass, vocals etc.
Only negative aspect is that mine sometimes starts to randomly clip, for example I could be watching YouTube and the audio starts to clip, it does go away after I close all my windows and let it sit for a few seconds

On The model I received the gain knob 1 doesn’t spin properly, gets stuck when turning otherwise everything works fine
