Focusrite Power Supply PSUE001022

I bought this unit at the urging of a musician/producer colleague who runs a successful home studio business.. he tested my Focusrite 18i8 with a cheaper Chinese-made PSU I'd previously procured and detected a ferocious earth hum in his headphones....no such problem with this unit! Arrived promptly from Thomann too, so top marks all round!!

I use it as a secondary power supply for the Arturia Minifreak. Works great.

I bought this because I needed a power supply for the Yamaha MU1000, which needs 12V, 2A DC with a centre-positive connector. Yamaha no longer make a 12V supply that can provide that much current (their highest is 1.5A), but this supply seems to work. However, I don't have any expansion cards installed in the MU1000, so it probably isn't using the full 2A, and your mileage may vary.
