Viele renommierte Hersteller benutzen diesen Abnehmer als Standard bei ihren Elektro-Akustischen Modellen. Der Klang ist natürlich, man braucht aber mindestens 11er Saiten um die auftretenden Pegelunterschiede zu glätten.
(Anmerkung der Redaktion: Ursache für Pegelunterschiede ist ofmals, daß die Auflagefläche der Stegeinlage uneben gearbeitet ist.)
Zusatz zur Anmerkung der Redaktion: Auch ein minimal schmälerer Sattel als die Fräsung verursacht Pegelprobleme habe ich inzwischen festgestellt. In solchen Fällen ist es gut, wenn man zuerst die hohen Saiten stimmt und nachher die Bässe. Der Druck der Bass-Saiten ist höher. Ein Austauschen des Stegs ist aber die beste Lösung. :-)

Habe diesen Pickup in einer doubleneckgitarre, also einmal für eine 12 string und einmal für eine 6saitige Nylonstring mit einem gemeinsamen preamp. Der Einbau war problemlos. der Klang ist für einen Unterstegpickup wirklich prima, bringt selbst feine Nuancen ohne zu harsch zu wirken, und das für so unterschiedliche Anforderungen. Vor allem für den Preis sehr zu empfehlen.

ho acquistato questo pickup per sostituirlo al suo predecessore in una fantastica chitarra classica Camps. Risulta un pò delicato in quanto schermato con foglio di alluminio ma se istallato con cura e abbinato al giusto preamp (io ho un fishman on board) risulta essere un valido piezo per chitarra classica. Tra l'altro non è facile trovare questo articolo in Europa in quanto si tratta di un wide size (versione non più commercializzata in favore dei narrow).
Insomma sono stato soddisfatto di constatare il solito infinito catalogo Thomann che permette di trovare tutto quello che serva.
