peffect for the price
I wanted a good stand for my Fender Squier and found some stands in a local shop but they were too expensive. Then i searched Thommans site and i found this stand which i decided to buy right away. I liked the style, the Fender logo seemed very nice and IT. It arrived without any delay with a cymbal stand i needed. Quality is higher than expected and my guitar can finally rest... and very important all the set up took me about 1-2 minutes its very easy.
Conclusion : the best stand for the price you wont regret even 1 Euro you will spend. Thank you Thommans!!

Good
It won’t hold any strange shaped guitars without making you paranoid, but other than that it’s a solid unit and will keep your strat tele or p bass in place while you go for an obligatory mid show beer

Perfect Stand for Rhoads and V-Shape Guitars
Only stand i could find, wich can hold a V-shape Guitar.
Adjustment is fine and secure.
Only minor are the 4 little points on the feet where the stand rest on, they slide on a smooth floor.

The stand that will take most forms, even the unusual ones.
I bought this stand because my bass has a swoop in the body that lets it graciously glide out of normal stands. With the two arms being adjustable you can have any form of instrument sit straight. There is a litte arm for stopping instruments slide out to the left, like explorers do. My bass has an inverted explorer back, so it slides to the right. I took the stand apart and reassembled it the other way round (needs a bit of force). Now that little arm is located on the right and my bass sits tight, but i can not fold it anymore.
After a long search this remains the only groundstand keeping that particular bass upright, so i'm ok with the non-foldability my mod has given it.
Other than that, the Fender Universal Guitar Stand offers a good, solid quality and good value for the money.

Perfect for offset guitars and basses
I've struggled to find a good stand for my jazz bass for some time - the offset body just doesn't sit well on most standard guitar stands - you end up ineffectually re-positioning it to try and find a secure spot.
The simple adjustability of this stand is perfect so that the instrument sits securely in place and the padding is of decent thickness to protect the finish. An added plus I wasn't expecting is that non-offset bodies still sit it in well too with little or no adjustment.
Build-wise it is well-made and I would expect it to cope with the rigours of regular gigging with ease. It's not light or compact but then my experience is that flimsy stands don't last nor do they offer sufficient balance.
My only minor criticism is that the stand does need to be positioned a good distance away from a wall as the guitar does sit back at quite an angle. Nevertheless this doesn't outweigh its usefulness.

Very solid well made guitar stand. I own various guitars, strat / explorer etc.. this guitar stand is adjustable for all of them. I would highly recommend this guitar stand.

I can 'stand' it.
These are a great guitar stand. They're sturdy, well balance, easy to use, and looks sexy(Very sexy).
The one negative i have about them is the angle the guitar stands at. You can't put it right up against a wall. The stand has to be roughly a foot away from the wall or your head will be leaning against the wall, which cancels out having a stand in the first place. If your confined for space you have to turn it to the side, which is a little awkward.
If you have space then she is a sweaty.

Very Convenient
Suits all types of Fender guitars and probably most electric guitars in general. Can be easily adjusted to fit a wide range of shapes and sizes, from the thick slab of a Telecaster to the asymmetrical offset body of a Jaguar or Jazzmaster.
