This AV II 66 Jazzmaster is a limited edition and it’s very different than the “regular” version of the series. It has a higher output, powerful “fat” Jazzmaster pickup and a beautifully crafted neck. It is custom shop quality albeit the setup wasn’t great out of the box, but it doesn’t matter. Sounds great, feels good, looks amazing.

vielen Dank für den immer wieder tollen Service von Thomann!

Leider war ich mit der Gitarre nicht zufrieden, da ich folgende Mängel festgestellt hatte:
- keine Grundeinstellung bei Saitenlage und Halskrümmung.
- Die Potis stehen in Maxstellung bei 5. Wieso?
- „Loch“ im Bereich des 17. Bundes, Ton stirbt ab beim Ziehen.
- die e-Saite knackt beim Ziehen.
- Am Schlimmsten finde ich, dass der Lack nicht poliert ist. Überall sind kleine Kratzer und Flecken. Die Korpusübergänge sind angestoßen und blind. Überhaupt macht der Lack einen milchigen Eindruck bei Seitenlicht.
- Der Koffer hat auf der Unterseite ein Loch in der Bespannung (grauer Tweed)
Schade, ging zurück!
