After doing the J-Bass/active thing, I wanted to strip it all down to basics. Enter the P-Bass. After unpacking it (and finding it flawlessly set up, unlike my J-Bass, Thomann!) I plugged it in and holy cow. Even through a little practice amp, this thing means business. Stuck on a red aftermarket pick guard just for kicks and boy does it look clean. Amazing craftsmanship, looks, sound—sure you pay for it, but it just totally rips.
