Evans EQPC2 Bassdrum Head Protection

I use this Head Protection in a vertical upright way instead of horizontal, so that no matter how high or low I set up my pedal beater, the head will stay safe and not damaged. This is just a normal head protector that elongates the life or your bass drum head. I use it with clear PS3 and clear Pintsripe on 20 and 22 bass drums.

Kick drum sound not changed after applying the product. I give it a 5 star for what it is supposed to do.

It's a must for every drummer to keep the head away from decay and used material that happens from time to time.Highly Recommended.i have found only pros just keep in mind to clean the surface first.

Not a fan of their drumheads, but this patch is working bette pr for me than Remo and Aquarian ones.

This item does not seem very strong at first sight, but when installed to the drum head, it delivers excellent protection. Makes the surface really sturdy at the place and distributes kick power to a larger area. Good for mesh heads too! Not only for protection but also to avoid dust and particles from the beater head to enter the drum interior. This is useful if you have e-drums and want to protect the piezo parts inside.

I like both the warmth of coated heads and the attack of clear heads, so this little thing gives me a good mix of both worlds, additionally to it protecting my coated bass drum head from wear. Overall, the protection of the head (so it would last longer), was my main motivation and the slight increase of attack was a nice plus. Would always recommend using one, and this one works just fine.

For bass drum protection from beaters, and to assist in the high end attach of a bass drum. Adding these pads is perfect!

No complaints, this served me well for a good while and it's still attached to my old bass head.

i think that this will genuinely give you about a years worth more of batter head on your kick drum and also gives you a great target spot for lining up your double pedals

Used it on a practice mesh head for protection of the impact spot.

Excellent for extra head protection without impacting sound too much.
