Suitable for achieving a less open sound

Compared to a clear Remo Ambassador, when used as a resonant head on toms this provides a more controlled and less open sound. This has reduced the amount of sticky tape used in the studio by drummers who are trying to get greater control over the decay of the sound. However, it still has some nice resonance and is not totally dead-sounding. This is a good balance in my opinion.

It is just what I need, perfect sound. I have bought for my drum - total 4 toms, all the same type of resonant heads. Great stuff!

Ich spiele dieses Fell in Kombination mit einem G12 Coated von Evans auf einem Sonor AQ2 Maple Set. Für mich der pefekte runde Tomsound, den ich mir wünsche. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass das Resonanzfell so einen riesen Unterschied macht! Ich würde sagen, es holt nochmal 30% an Soundqualität heraus, wenn man ohnehin schon ein vernünftiges Schlagfell aufgezogen hat.

Es lässt die Tom singen und eleminiert das Mitsingen, wenn die Bassdrum oder benachbarte Toms erklingen. Damit hatt ich immer auf Aufnahmen zu kämpfen.

In der oben genannten Kombination, habe ich keine zusätzliche Dämpfung mehr auf dem Schlagfell und es elminiert alle unerwünschten, nervigen Obertöne.
